Abstract
Un approccio ben consolidato per la soluzione di un problema non banale prevede di scomporlo in una gerarchia di sotto-problemi più semplici (divide-et-impera). La stessa scomposizione può essere adottata come base per la valutazione parziale, attribuendo allo studente i meriti derivanti dai sotto-problemi effettivamente risolti. L’articolo parte da questa convergenza per analizzare la fattibilità pratica della valutazione automatica di soluzioni parziali e proporre una regola di valutazione automatica applicabile a un’ampia gamma di problemi.
