Tecnologie dell’Informazione e Comunicazione e didattica del patrimonio culturale immateriale: opportunità e sfide

Abstract

La salvaguardia del patrimonio culturale immateriale ha assunto maggiore rilevanza negli ultimi decenni e in particolare in seguito alla promulgazione della “Convenzione per la salvaguardia del patrimonio culturale immateriale” da parte dell’UNESCO (2003). L’educazione è riconosciuta nella Convenzione stessa come uno strumento fondamentale per raggiungere questo scopo e per questa ragione le strategie seguite per la salvaguardia di tale patrimonio hanno spesso comportato il finanziamento di progetti finalizzati alla formazione a livello nazionale ed internazionale. Tuttavia, la didattica del patrimonio immateriale è un ambito poco esplorato che presenta una serie di sfide dovute alla natura dei contenuti trattati e alle pratiche di insegnamento tradizionalmente adottate, che oggi rivelano severi limiti. Proprio dinanzi a queste sfide è nata la nostra domanda di ricerca relativa a quali tecnologie e metodi potessero essere efficacemente usati per l’insegnamento e l’apprendimento nel campo
del Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale. In questo contributo presenteremo sia le principali sfide del settore, che i risultati della nostra attività di ricerca, che si è svolta nel contesto del progetto i-Treasures. In questo progetto, infatti, riconoscendo le opportunità offerte dalle nuove tecnologie, si è lavorato per sviluppare e testare soluzioni innovative in termini di metodi e strumenti per l’educazione al Patrimonio Culturale Intangibile.
